French Avenue DIVIN ASYLUM - It's pure summer bliss in a bottle, bathing the wearer in a cloud of sparkling, sunlit citrus and vetiver that lasts all day. Here, the original gentle structure of soft musks is reversed, followed by fresh fruits. Divin Asylum is followed by a joyful island of grapefruit, bergamot and lime, followed by a shimmering vetiver that sparkles as brightly as the citrus fruits. Paired with aromatic notes of juniper berry and lemon peel gin and tonic, it smells like the first (and best) sip of a cold drink on an exhaustingly hot day. The fruitiness of the apple and blackcurrant heart note is toned down a bit in the cologne concentration, relying on a slightly drier combination of citrusy vetiver and airy musk to keep the scent smooth. A soft but decidedly light creaminess creeps in at the end, the happy result of benzoin and vanilla mingling with an airy cloud of musk and amber.
